As I am in the SEO industry, I believe that my efforts in a campaign can be evaluated through figures and client feedbacks. I ask my clients how I was as a partner and how she thought about my services. This is important for me because I can see where my strengths and weaknesses are and improve on some aspect I believe I can do more than expected. However, asking for client testimonials seemed to be too much and only clients who were much pleased with my services can do it.

Validate the details. You can’t just say that because someone’s talking about it, she could be trusted. Visit his or her website and the service provider being talked about. Then,

Search for the name of the person doing the testimonial. Is he credible? Does he hold a good image in the online community? Does he own the business? Was he able to have partnership with the service provider he is talking about? Stuffs like this will tell if the testimonial is worth believing.

Check the Rankings of the Mentioned Keywords. You should see that what she claims match with what you can see when you search for his or her own keywords.

Verify the credibility of the service provider. Testimonials provide two information: for the one giving the testimony and whom he is doing it for. At your end, check if the website of that certain provider (in this case, mine) if he really holds such good name in SEO.

Don’t be deceived by a testimonial. If you want to be seen in search engine effectively and stable, choose an SEO specialist who got certifications and proven to give results through consistent client testimonials.
